Aesthetically the film is somewhat problematic – it was shot in one day, with a looming deadline and no budget.

But fuck excuses, I’m happy with the way it turned out and I learned a TON about casting, working with actors, production design, and shooting in a confined space.

It also marks the first collaboration between myself and Minou, my new film partner. We’ve got a lot of really exciting projects coming up, so as always, stay tuned.

This is a movie from a fellow student in my production class, a comedy that pokes a little bit of fun at Now We Can Be Together:

Pretty funny right? The class gave me some crap for NWCBT being too self-important and serious, so this movie was the ultimate deflation. I really appreciated it.

Okay folks, I try to stay positive but I’ve got some bad news today. As of Wednesday, the movie I’d been filimg for a couple weeks, my most ambitious and excellent project yet, is dead.

The handsome young man pictured above was forced to cut his hair because of a modeling agency contract, and with the hair the movie dream has died.

I might get around to shooting it this summer, but as of now, the project is dead in the water. So, as part of my grieving process, I’ve decided to release some stills, one last upsetting look at what could have been : (

This production was fairly epic – it included four trips up to the desert, two of those at dawn. During the second location scouting expedition, the bmw got stuck in the sand, far off the road and….
